Here Comes #3...or is it #4??

That's right....

We're expecting our third baby!!!!!!!

After a week and a half of what I thought might be the swine flu (just kidding), Mark and I found out on Mother's Day that I am pregnant (how fitting, huh...Mother's Day of all days)!  

SHOCK is an understatement.

No, we were not trying.  Yes, we are thrilled!   

Did I mention SHOCKED?

But we gladly accept the blessings the Lord sends our way and we are very excited!

I am only 4 1/2 weeks and we're due sometime in January.  I considered not announcing until 12 weeks because of a previous miscarriage, but we figure the more people that know the more people who can be praying for us!  :)

So thank you in advance for any prayers you send our way!!!

Just to Clear Things Up...

That cute little pup on my last post is not our dog.  I'm just hoping to get a boxer one day.  They are so sweet!  :)

Also, I have some news but can't really put it out there yet.  More to come....

And finally, just a random thought:  Fuddruckers - what's the big deal?  We ate there last night and although it was good, I would not call it the "world's greatest hamburgers".  I definitely prefer Islands Burger's.  But I WILL say that they had a live senior citizen band (that's right) that ROCKED IT!  We all danced and had a great time!  Totally worth it!  :)

Monday Musings

For Today...Monday, May 11, 2009

Outside my window...a very still and overcast Monday morning.
I am thinking...where do I start?  I have so much on my mind...
I am thankful for...my children!  Mother's Day was awesome!
From the kitchen...coffee needs making, dishes need washing.
I am wearing...my pj's.
I am creating...an Orphans Care Team that will hopefully reach many.
I am going...to get new head-shots done today for my website.
I am reading...parenting books.
I am hoping...that things fall together this year.
I am hearing...quiet - 2 of the 3 kids are still sleeping.
Around the house...chores need to be done.
One of my favorite things...eating out!  I love a good restaurant.
A few plans for the rest of the week: Bible study, hanging out with Eve and Shay today, head-shots with the Bergmann's, Em's soccer practice, girls night out on Friday.
Here is a picture that I'm sharing: possibly my future dog.  So cute!

Happy First Birthday Brody!!!

Today is Brody's first birthday and what a fun day we had! Brody's birthday party was great and it was so nice to visit with friends and family.

We took LOTS of picture but I forgot my cord to upload them so they'll be up on Wednesday most likely. Look forward to those!!!

It has been a great year with Brody and we are so blessed to have been given the honor and opportunity to parent, guide and mentor him. We are so looking forward to celebrating many more milestones with our sweet boy.

Thank you to all the grandparents for your help putting this together! We are so thankful to you for all you do for us and our children!!!

Time for the hubs to rub my feets! :)
